The Jefferson Trail has been reopened!

Welcome back to the Jefferson Trail!  

The trail along Jefferson Blvd along the Ballona Freshwater Marsh has seen some major changes over the past few years and has now been rehabilitated! Bring your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues to enjoy this amazing space from dawn to dusk every day! 

Parking is on Bluff Creek Drive, adjacent to the Sports Park in Playa Vista and Ballona Discovery Park. Walk along Buff Creek Drive toward Lincoln Blvd. Cross Lincoln Blvd toward the marsh and walk about 5 paces left from the street light. Find a set of steps leading down to the freshwater marsh L-Shaped Perimeter Trail. Walk on the wood chip trail along Lincoln blvd until the trail curves onto Jefferson Blvd. From the curve you should be able to see the gates into the Jefferson Trail.
